Event review: Stacy and Jason’s Reception
Another successful wedding in the books for Beach Boyz Entertainment. Rich Siebert Beach Boyz Founder and DJ/MC had the privilege of providing entertainment for Stacy and Jason’s wedding on 10/9/10 at The Galaxy in Wadsworth. Sitting Pretty Linens provided the chair covers and table linens, while guests dined on Prime Rib from David Cavalier and his staff at the Galaxy.
Jason entered the hall sporting a cowboy hat and Stacy was our typical nervous bride. She was so nervous she called me twice the week of the wedding to make sure I had the right father/daughter song by Rod Stewart and brought it to the reception in case I forgot it. Our DJ’s are sent out with entire playlist packed iMacs, plus an ipod for back-up. We even still send out our mini disks as a third back-up. You can never be too careful!
Stacy thought of all the details. She had a Candy Bar stocked with licorice, M&M’s and Sweet Tarts and she also had a bin full of flip-flops for all of her female guests to wear. We thought this was a great idea. They matched her colors and had a little note on them from the bride and groom. Guests could take their heels off and where the flip-flops and dance all night.
At the end of the evening Jason came up to me and said “Hey man, I like you!” Which is just the compliment I’m looking for at the end of a successful night of dj-ing and keeping their guests fully entertained!
Great night and the music was wonderful which kept the evening in high spirits till the very end…the dance floor was packed all night!…Karen O (MOB)
